Applications are currently being accepted for the 2025 British Council Scotland EARTH Scholarships. This initiative, managed by SGSAH and funded by the British Council, aims to facilitate international collaborative research endeavors between Ph.D. and Early Career Researchers, Scottish Higher Education institutions, academic mentors in Scotland, and external organizations.
The primary objective of the program is to underscore the significance of environmental arts and humanities, as well as the broader arts and cultural domain, in tackling the urgent climate crisis. It places emphasis on their potential for interdisciplinary investigations within the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) framework.
Through this initiative, opportunities for research and global mobility will be fostered, leading to the evolution of innovative approaches aimed at addressing the worldwide challenges posed by the climate emergency. Additionally, the program seeks to encourage sustainable research and facilitate cultural exchanges both within and beyond the realms of arts, humanities, and culture.
