Grants are available for Swedish researchers who want to do advanced research and/or teach in the United States and have an established link with an American institution or research organization. Applications from recent Ph.D. scholars to full professor candidates are encouraged. The minimum length of stay in the United States is three months, with visa sponsorship extending to twelve months. Scholars who are currently conducting research with a US university at the time of submission are ineligible. Scholars who have not yet finished a doctoral degree at the time of application must provide evidence of completion prior to their departure to the United States.
