The Trifold Problem: Trust, Convenience, and Visibility

The inspiration for Shop Local Ethiopia didn’t come from a boardroom, but from a broken market. Back in June 2019, the founder—then working as a lawyer—noticed a systemic failure in how local crafts were bought and sold.

“I started Shop Local Ethiopia because I saw a gap that broke my heart: incredible Ethiopian craftsmanship was being overlooked, while imported goods flooded our markets.”
