The decision by Boeing in May to establish its African headquarters in Ethiopia could turn out to a benefit for airlines across the continent, analysts say.
Kenya and South Africa had hoped to lure the US plane maker. Addis Ababa is the best-connected airport for travel in the continent and so is the logical choice for Boeing, says Sean Mendis, an aviation analyst based in Malawi.
