Applications are invited to apply for the Abdul Majid Bader Graduate Scholarship 2026 in Canada. This scholarship is available to international students. Iranian students are given preference, but exceptional international applications are also taken into consideration, leaving the door open to international talent looking for a sponsored route into Dalhousie University’s Canadian research community. Applicants can pursue their Masters or PhD Degree from Canada.

For outstanding foreign researchers hoping to pursue thesis-based graduate studies in Canada, Dalhousie University’s Graduate Scholarship offers a unique, high-value funding window. This esteemed prize, which was created to alleviate the actual financial strain of advanced research, offers a potent combination of substantial yearly funding and renewal stability, making Dalhousie a strong candidate for your academic goals for 2026. The fellowship, which offers up to $40,000 annually for master’s and doctorate studies, is designed to assist exceptional students who choose to concentrate on research rather than survival.

Abdul Bader was born in the Iranian capital of Tehran in 1949. He moved to Great Britain to finish his secondary education after completing his primary education in his own country. After that, he pursued further education in the United States. He returned to Iran shortly before the Islamic Revolution, having graduated from Tufts University’s Fletcher School with a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy. Mr. Bader’s career was altered by a number of events, including the passing of his father and the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran. After that, he spent all of his time managing an inherited private company.
