Fulbright BioLAB Scholarship 2026 in Poland

Fulbright BioLAB Scholarship 2026 in Poland

Applications are invited to apply for the Fulbright BioLAB Scholarship 2026 in Poland. All National and International students can apply for the Program. The BioLAB Program provides one-year research traineeships to Polish Master’s or PhD students studying biological sciences, biophysics, or medicine.

If you are a Polish master’s or doctoral student hoping to further your studies in renowned American labs, the BioLAB Program 2026 can be your ticket to a fully paid, one-year traineeship at a top US university. Over 600 Polish researchers in the fields of biophysics, medical research, and life sciences have already benefited from the BioLAB Program, which has been run by the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission since 2013. Alumni continue their studies at esteemed universities including the University of Oxford, Cambridge, ETH Zürich, and the Max Planck Institute, and they regularly publish in prestigious journals like Nature and Acta Crystallographica.

The BioLAB Program (formerly known as the Visiting Research Graduate Traineeship Program) was established at the University of Virginia in 2001, led by Professor Zygmunt Derewenda. In 2006, the University of Chicago became the United States’ second host institution, followed by the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in 2013 and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2014. This program is extremely competitive, with just about 40 slots available annually, and is intended for individuals who have demonstrated lab experience and outstanding academic records.
