Applications for the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarships are now open. The World Bank and Japan offer a fully funded scholarship program for students from developing countries to pursue their master’s degree studies. Recipients can apply to any participating universities and programs in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan, with the scholarship covering tuition fees, travel expenses, living expenses, and health insurance. Eligible students must have a bachelor’s degree, relevant work experience, and English language proficiency.
The JJ/WBGSP is open to more than 160 developing countries. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree earned at least 3 years before the application deadline. The World Bank Graduate Program is open to male and female applicants. And they strongly encourage female applicants to apply. Everyone has an eye on the Joint Japan World Bank program.
The scholarship provides a comprehensive benefits package, which includes tuition, health insurance, a living allowance, airfare, and a book allowance. The scholarship also provides an opportunity for professional development through workshops, seminars, and meetings with World Bank staff.
