While applicants on the embassy track are allowed to select up to three preferred universities from participating schools, those on the university track are only allowed to choose one university (Kookmin University). Successful applicants are anticipated to start their studies in Korea by August 2026 after the institution and the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) perform a multi-stage final selection process.
