The Department of Ophthalmology, Visual and Anatomical Sciences offers both Masters of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Programs in Anatomy & Cell Biology. Training is primarily in the broad research areas of vision and neuroscience, with a focus on diabetic retinopathy, bacterial and viral pathogenesis, vascular biology, neural processing and neurodegenerative diseases.
