Applications are invited to apply for the Zayed Sustainability Prize 2026 in the UAE. International Applicants are welcome to apply for this programs in Abu Dhabi. The purpose of this program is to honor the leaders for their innovative, motivating, and inventive contributions to a sustainable future. This includes climate action, food, energy, water, health, and global high school. The program is free to apply for and is open to citizens of all nationalities.
The winners of the Prize will be invited to the awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi by invitation. In January 2026, the ceremony will be held in Abu Dhabi. The Finalist applicants’ airfare, lodging, and domestic transportation expenses are paid for by the Abu Dhabi Government. Additionally, winners will receive prize money. The UAE’s first worldwide award, the Sustainability Prize, honors and celebrates global high schools, nonprofit organizations, and small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) that provide inspiring, creative, and sustainable solutions. The award honors the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, for his contributions to sustainability and humanitarianism. Over 400 million people’s lives have been changed by the 128 winners we have so far chosen.
