AfroReach Unveils AfroContact to Help Ethiopian Businesses Manage Customer Interactions Across Channels

AfroReach Technology, the Ethiopian company behind the widely used enterprise messaging platform AfroMessage, has launched AfroContact, an omnichannel contact center platform designed to modernize how organizations manage customer engagement.

Built on HoduSoft and customized and adopted by AfroReach for the Ethiopian market, the platform aims to provide organizations with a more integrated and reliable communication system.

The launch comes as Ethiopia’s digital economy continues to expand and businesses face growing pressure to respond to customers quickly across multiple channels.

In an interview, the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) of AfroReach Technology explained that the launch builds on years of experience delivering enterprise messaging services through the company’s flagship SMS platform, AfroMessage.

“Through AfroMessage, we’ve worked closely with banks, fintechs, logistics companies, and government institutions. That exposure gave us a deep understanding of the communication challenges organizations face in Ethiopia,” the CBDO said.
