Rahel Solomon is signing off from CNN.
During a live March 23 broadcast of Early Start, the news anchor announced that she’s leaving the network after three years.
“I’ve decided that this will be my last week at CNN. More to come on what’s next for me, but I’m really excited about this next chapter,” she said. “For now, a huge thank you to the team here on Early Start. It has been such an honor, truly, to serve as a business correspondent for CNN.”
Her exit comes just a year after she was named anchor of the 5 a.m. show — and only a few months after returning from her maternity leave. She and her husband, Marcel S. Pratt, whom she married in 2024, welcomed their first child in 2025.
